Framsden

The Sign
The village sign is in the shape of an oak tree with a scattering of leaves at the top, made of wrought iron. At the top is an owl representative of the wildlife of the area. The post mill is on the left, which is only a few hundred yards away from the sign, the huge Framsden Hall Barn which houses exhibitions is also featured along with the church. Snakes head fritillaries are representative of Fox Fritillary Meadow sitting at the base. The two hands in the bough of the tree are open and seen to be catching coins from above representing the Framsden Fundraisers charity set up to support and promote community spirit and interests within Framsden and the surrounding area.
