Kesgrave
The Sign
The sign shows a cedar tree which can be found in the church. Presented by the Women's Institute in 1965 celebrating their Golden Jubilee. The sign is located on Bell Lane.
The Name and Population
Kesgrave is a town between Ipswich and Woodbridge with a population of 14,168 at the 2011 census; It was only 102 in 1921. It was known as Gressegrava in 1086. The name means "Cress ditch/grove".
