Somersham
The Sign
The whole sign is wrapped in a horseshoe, reminding us of the vilage forge and importance of the industry at the time. The forge is now a private residence but is marked by an anvil in the garden. The church of St Mary is shown in the middle, above the bridge across the local river. The sun is shining in the top right corner.
